2 more weeks

There are only two more weeks left in this MBA econ class. It is kicking my butt! I am doing really well, but the amount of reading and writing is really taking a lot out of me and I need a breather! I have another class after this one, but I anticipate that one to be a little easier, since it is a prerequisite class and this one is a core MBA class.

Chloe has been very spunky lately. She is such a rough and tumble kid and I wonder if it is our fault. Maybe we play to rough but she loves to pull my hair, pinch and poke us in the face. Evidently she only does it with Craig and I because she is generally a little angel at daycare. I guess I wasn't meant to raise a shrinking violet. This kid is a tough cookie. She is definitely starting to test boundaries. Just this morning, she pulled open the drawer in the kitchen where I keep my knives. I told her know and closed it. She looked right at me and reached over and opened it again. About the third time of me saying no and closing it, I had to physically remove her and put her in the living room. She of course started to cry, but it was that whiny "I'm not getting what I want" cry. Welcome to the toddler years, I guess!

Craig and his dad are finally working on the chimney and getting the woodstove installed. Craig said that his dad would be down around 10 this morning and since he would be here all day, we assumed his mom wouldn't be coming. But alas, they both arrived. So instead of getting my laundry done, doing school work, maybe even squeeze in some knitting, I am entertaining my MIL. Granted, she is a nice lady, but you know how it is, when you are just looking for your own time and not expecting company. Oh well. We were hoping to go to a pumpkin patch today with Chloe, especially since the weather is just perfect, warm sunny and gorgeous. But, they are still working on the chimney so I guess maybe next weekend.

We did go outside and do some playtime since it is so gorgeous out. I have some pictures to share!

My little monkey just loves to climb around on the furniture.

It was the perfect day to play in the yard.
She enjoys pushing it almost as much as riding in it.

Love the photos! You have such a pretty yard!!

Maybe the defiance is age-related as much as personality? Lil'K is full of pure mischief right now too. I don't think it's your fault! I think it's awesome to have a girl that is confident and has some spunk.
