On the way home today, I had a 'near-miss' accident. The light turned yellow, I turned left but the car coming down straight decided to step on the gas to make the light. I slammed on my brakes and he swerved to miss me. We didn't hit, but he drove into someone's house fence. So, we call the police and an hour later (and one very fussy backseat passenger) we are on our way home. I got a 'warning ticket' for failure to yield. The cop was nice and didn't give me a ticket, but by giving me the warning, I am officially to blame. I guess that is why we have insurance and all, but it really peeves me.
Ugh.
Other than that fantastic news, we had our solar panels installed this week. They look really cool and I am so excited about the soon-to-be reduced oil bills with them on the house.
We had Chloe's 18 month check up on Friday. She is 29.6 lbs and 33.5 inches long. Yeah, she is a big girl. She got two shots and didn't even cry. The pediatrician was duly impressed with her great vocab skills and said she is growing and developing incredibly well. She continues to amaze me.
Is it Friday yet? I am ready for this week to be over...

Me too!!! I can't wait for the weekend to start!!! Sorry to hear about your driving mishap, but at least you got off with just a warning and everyone was OK. Two of our staff go into car accidents last week. There must be something in the air!!!
Enjoy your weekend!!!
I'm so sorry about your accident! That must have been scary :( Glad everyone is OK!
Sounds like Chloe is doing GREAT!
I'm glad that your near miss wasn't a wreck! But it seems as though the other driver would have been just as equally to blame, since they should have slowed down instead of punching it to make it through the light! I would have been frustrated too.
I'm glad Chloe is doing so great! What a big girl...not even crying over her shots!! I'm impressed!
Sorry to hear about your little accident but at least nobody was hurt, thats the main thing.
Its good to hear how well Chloe is doing.
Have a great weekend.
I'm so glad you & Choloe are ok! How scary!! And what a big girl! She's bigger than Lila who was 26 lbs recently 28 mos LOL :) She's beautiful & getting so big!!
Sorry to hear about your near-miss accident... glad everyone's ok though!!
Chloe sounds like she's doing great. She's such a cutie. I think Alyson will be right up there with her in height/weight when she's 18 months! She was already 26 lb 8 oz and 32 inches at 15 mo, so we'll see!
Take care!
I'm glad you got just a warning and not a ticket...at least that's a plus :)
Wow..Cade is tiny ha :) He won't have his 18 month check up until December, but I weighed him the other day and he was 20 lbs. 9 oz!
