Are you as Lost as I am?

Am I the only person in the planet that doesn't really get this show? Craig is into it, so therefore we must watch it. I have seen most of the episodes and yet each time, I get more confused and well, more lost. Everyone in my office loves the show and they even have a scheduled meeting every Thursday after a new episode to 'discuss'. Perhaps I just like simple shows. Ones that don't require recap shows, pop-up episodes, companion books or discussion meetings. I like shows that at the end of the hour, I know what happened and am interested in watching the characters again. Sigh. I will give this season my best happy smile, watch it for my hubby and pretend to know what the hell all my coworkers are talking about. Just tell me this. When is this show going to be Found?

It has been a while since I posted pictures, so I figured I should share a couple of current ones.

Craig and Chloe reading. Chloe HEARTS books. She can read them over and over and while she loves to sit with you, she is also happy to read all by herself.

Playdoh. Or as Chloe calls it "Bee-Bo". She definitely HEARTS playdoh. Mommy...not so much. Any suggestions on how to get neon orange playdoh out of a rug?

This is Chloe on the Wii Fit. It is actually the only way she will let me weigh her. Usually we do it in the evening when she is in bed, but sometimes if I take it out when she is around, she always wants the remote and wants to stand on the balance board. She is such a little goofball.
As for how she is feeling, well, she seems to be back to her happy disposition and personality, but her appetite is shot. My normally ambitious eater is now barely touching anything. In fact, I weighed her on the wii fit to see where she was at and she has lost 2 lbs in the last two weeks. I am still hopeful that she just has an upset tummy and it will soon pass. Or, I could be being punished for having the audacity to say out loud that I had a good eater. I assume that all toddlers go through this phase to a certain degree. They will eat when they are hungry, right?
Other than the food/tummy issue, she is doing well and growing so fast. She is getting such a personality and it amazes me how she can get so sweet and cuddly one second and spunky and terrible the next. Luckily she is more spunky than terrible, but I think I am getting a taste of the terrible twos. Oh boy. I am in for it, aren't I?

I feel the same way about Lost. We watched for a few seasons, but I need a few answers before more questions are put on my plate. I felt hopeless about ever finding out what was going on, and "Lost" interest. buh-dum-ching! haha

The pic of Chloe and Craig reading together is precious! I hope she is back to her regular eating soon!

Yeah, I'm a bit lost too. I was never in to Lost although I used to listen to Danny ramble about it at work all the time. I've gotten sucked in to watching a few eps of season 4 with Taryn and our friends Jen and Aaron. I set my DVR last night but I don't know if I'll actually watch it. Right now 90210 is a higher priority :)

Chloe is getting so big! Picky eaters do eventually eat. I had very good eaters for a while and now it has gotten to the point where they don't seem to like anything. Amanda said at dinner last night "we don't like corn." I responded with "oh really? WE don't like it? How do you know that?" She was confident that they both won't like it. One day they love chicken and the next day, prepared differently, they don't like chicken. Go figure!?! Ah, the trials of motherhood! Don't worry, she won't starve. It goes in waves!

Oh, and, we can trade girly-girl for tomboy any time you'd like a change of pace. She informed me the other day that she wants to color her nails like one of her friends at school! Color her nails?? She is only 3. My baby...

Wow, I could keep going. We should chat one of these days. We got a home phone with Vonage so I'll have to give a call.

I've never watched Lost...one of my quirks is I like to watch a show from the start so I'm not lost (no pun intended). I intended to catch up after the first season but the further behind I got, the less desire I had to start watching. Oh, well. :)

My kids go through cycles of eating well and not eating also. It seems to coincide with growth spurts. We all had the tummy bug back at Christmas and it took a good two weeks before we were feeling back to normal. My 21-month old was hit the hardest and took the longest to bounce back.

I've never watched Lost. I've heard it's a show that you can't really just come into without watching all the episodes...and I really have no desire to start at the beginning :) Plus, I've heard it's kind of hard to keep up with.

Cade LOVES to read too. He will sit for an hour or longer at a time and just let you read to him. And, if he's ever playing in his room, you can be sure he's sitting in the floor looking at a book. I hope he keeps it up and always likes reading!

Cade is the opposite with eating right now. He used to hardly eat..not picky, just never ate much. The past few days he hasn't stopped eating. It must be a growth spurt or something. I hope Chloe gets her appetite back soon!

I feel the same way about lost. I watch it mainly for Craig but I end up getting sucked into it each week. I get really irritated and mad at the end of each episode because it's so confusing!

I don't get Lost either. I watch TV so I don't HAVE to think, so I'm all about the simple shows too!!!

Chloe looks like she is having so much fun on the Wii fit!
