I am not much with suspense or drama so I will just spill it. I was due for my monthly visitor on Wednesday. Wednesday came and went with nothing, then Thursday too. So on Friday I got out my supply of POAS (pee-on-a-sticks) since I buy them in bulk, and gave it a go. Yup, it was positive. When Craig came into the bathroom to say goodbye to me as he headed out to work, I showed him the stick. He said, did you pee on that? I say yup. He smiled and gave me a big hug and kiss, then off to work.
So far I feel fine. No cramps, no spotting. I called the dr. and they are having me come in on Thursday to 'confirm' the pregnancy. My last dr. in Colorado just wanted to see you at around 8-10 weeks, so coming in so early is a bit odd to me. I am not sure if they will do blood work or what. I am of course happy and excited. But given two previous miscarriages, I am naturally tentative before I see the heartbeat. My due date is October 16. I had been trying for the last 8 months for a summer baby, but I guess Fall will have to do.
So far, other than you guys, only Craig knows. Well, I told Chloe but she doesn't really understand what I am saying. So for those who know me IRL, keep it on the down-low until I officially give the notification. You know how it goes. No need getting the whole world excited just yet...
Other than that, life is going pretty good.

Congrats!!!!! How exiting!
Fall babies are great - I loved wearing lightweight tops and not having people look at me like I was insane like they did in the middle of the winter when I was so hot all the time. I actually wanted an Oct baby. My daughter was due Oct 10 but was born in Sept. It's a good time of the year to be pregnant.
I'll be keeping my fingers (and toes) crossed for you!
OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am so far behind on reading, and I just noticed this post!!!!
