Pictures to follow

ultrasound pictures, that is. Just a quick update post since I am supposed to be writing my MBA paper which is due by midnight. Went for the u/s on Friday and the first tech poked and prodded me for what seemed like an eternity and couldn't find anything. Yeah, I was starting to freak out when the other tech came in. She was wonderful, sweet, immediately starting talking with me to relax me (the first tech was silent!) and she found the baby right away. I guess my uterus is a little tipped so it took a minute to find it. Later they did an abdominal u/s and that was 100x better and easier to find the baby.

The baby measured right on target at 10 weeks. Actually a couple days ahead, but that is fine. We got to see the heartbeat and so far everything looks good. I go for my 1st trimester screen ultrasound down at Yale New Haven a week from Monday and hopefully that will also go well.

So I let everyone at work know and of course, my boss was thrilled and everyone that I work with was super excited for me too. We are having a little baby boom with 4 of us due all in Sept/Oct.

I called my mom and she was very excited to hear she was having another grandbaby. Today I went up to Lebanon, CT (which is 1.5 hrs away and is amazing I was still in CT after driving that far!) for a baby shower for Craig's cousin Heather. I got to see all of Craig's aunts and cousins and his sister Nicole and they too were all very excited for us and the prospect of another Massicotte. Craig has two cousins-Heather and Shelly--that are having girls in May. One will be named Ella and the other Emma. Very pretty names. In fact, I think they were on my short list when we had Chloe. I will have to cross them off the list if we are having a girl!

OK, back to school work now. I promise to post pictures soon.
